Description
Assist veterinarians on a nightly basis by actively monitoring the farm and general wellness of the horses.
Responsibilities
· Making sure all yearlings in the barn along with all mares outside have plenty of water.
· General wellness checks on the entire ranch at night.
· Assisting the veterinarian with all emergencies that may occur at night.
· Must be able to give IV and IM shots along with medications as necessary.
· Making sure the farm maintains a clean environment including the laboratory, main stocks, and main office.
Qualifications
· Self-motivated
· Must be able to give IV and IM shots
· Basic Horse Handling Skills
· Detail oriented
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Tolerance of a fast pace changing environment
