The Amateur division took the spotlight on Wednesday, December 3, during the NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity, and the Valley Equine Super Stallion Incentive followed suit with a strong showing. A total of $150,000 was paid out to the top ten horses sired by eligible stallions, rewarding standout amateur performances on one of cutting’s biggest stages.
The depth of talent in this year’s Amateur Finals made for a competitive race from top to bottom.
First Place – $34,5000
Score: 222

One Rowdy Kitn led the incentive standings with a 222, earning the top payout of $34,500, paid out to KT Ranch LLC. Ridden by Kathy Bro, the High Brow Cat daughter also claimed the NCHA Amateur Championship after a strong showing through the first round and semi-finals, making it a standout night on multiple fronts.

Second Place – $24,000
Score: 217

Close behind was Tessa Rey, scoring a 217 to secure $24,000 in incentive earnings. Piloted by Trystan Crow for Crow Performance Horses, the Metallic Rey Mink offspring continued a strong first futurity run for this stallion line in the amateur ranks.
Split Third – $17,000 each

Secretsarising (Badboonarising – Frecklesareinstyle) and Justin Rockey

A three-way tie at 216 showcased depth and consistency in the Amateur Finals. Trystan Crow on his second family-owned horse, Dont Stopp This Girl, Justin Rockey on his own horse, Secretsarising, and Kristin Morais on her own horse, Three Reys Grace each earned $17,000. This trio of competitive teams split Fourth in the NCHA Amateur Finals.
Split Sixth – $11,250 each

Both Caricature and Jessys Secrets posted a 212 to split sixth, each adding $11,250 in incentive earnings.
Split Eighth – $6,750 each
Score: 211


Liberty Bel (Metallic Rebel – TF Cee Dee Stars) and Dawn Chapman

The eighth-place tie belonged to Liberty Bel and Stole All The Cash, with both earning $6,750 after scoring a 211 and rounding out another close grouping in the standings.
Tenth – $4,500
Score: 209

Pretty Kool completed the incentive payout list with a 209, earning $4,500 for owner EJ Huntley.

From first through tenth, the Amateur payouts reflected the depth and quality of eligible Valley Equine stallions on one of cutting’s most demanding stages. The full $150,000 awarded in this division went back to the owners behind these performances, reinforcing a program built to reward commitment and long-term investment.
