The Valley Equine Super Stallion Incentive continues to expand its impact across the cutting horse industry, with more than $568,000 set to be paid out at the 2026 National Cutting Horse Association Summer Spectacular through overages generated from the 2025 incentive purse. The payouts will be distributed across the Open, Non-Pro and Amateur divisions, further extending the industry’s most lucrative stallion incentive program into yet another aged event.
“We built this incentive to put real money back into the hands of the people supporting these stallions and competing on their offspring. The fact that we’re now talking about more than $568,000 at the Summer Spectacular alone, on top of over $1.1 million already paid out through the Futurity cycle, says a lot about the commitment of our stallion owners and the momentum behind this program. It’s rewarding the breeders, owners and riders who continue investing in these bloodlines, and we believe that’s exactly what strengthens the future of the industry.” _ Jeremy Barwick, owner of Valley Equine Reproduction
The payout marks another major milestone for the incentive, which has already distributed $1,175,003 during the 2025 NCHA Futurity and NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity cycle. With the Summer Spectacular overages included, the total 2025 Super Stallion Incentive purse climbs to more than $1.74 Million.
Where do the payouts come from?
The Valley Equine Super Stallion Incentive is funded directly through the breeding shed, by our stallion owners. From every paid breeding to an eligible Valley Equine Stallion, $500 is allocated straight into the incentive purse. That structure allows the program to deliver immediate returns, with current breeding season fees directly funding payouts for the same year’s futurity and aged event competition.
The model was designed with a clear purpose: reward the people who believe in these stallions and support the programs behind them, without adding additional nomination costs for horse owners. Eligible horses compete for substantial added money without owners paying separate enrollment or sustaining fees.
The continued growth of the program reflects both the strength of the Valley Equine stallion roster and the level of participation from stallion owners committed to reinvesting back into the industry.

When will we have payouts for the 2026 year?
Payout totals for the 2026 incentive season will be finalized after the conclusion of the 2026 breeding season, as the total purse remains directly tied to the number of paid breedings to enrolled stallions during the current year.
With continued participation from stallion owners and growing momentum across major events, the Valley Equine Super Stallion Incentive continues to raise the standard for what an incentive program can return to the people competing at the highest levels of the industry.
