Valley Equine proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of two of its resident stallions, Hashtags and Dont Stopp Believin, who have sired the National Cutting Horse Association’s top horses of 2024. Jazlyn, owned by Kathleen Moore, and Dont Stop Swingin, owned by Phil and Mary Ann Rapp, have earned titles as NCHA Open Horse of the Year and NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year, respectively, solidifying the influence of these stallions in the cutting horse industry.

Jazlyn, a Hashtags out of MK Cats Kitty, rose to the top by outperforming over 300 competitors to secure the NCHA Open Horse of the Year title. Her standout season included major wins such as the NCHA Open Super Stakes Derby and the NCHA Summer Spectacular Derby. Trained and ridden by James Payne, Jazlyn has earned $324,689, contributing to Hashtags’ growing legacy as a $3 million sire.

Dont Stop Swingin, a Dont Stopp Believin out of Swing Thru The Drive, was awarded NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year after beating out over 200 non-pro competitors. His athleticism and competitive drive reflect the qualities that make Dont Stopp Believin a respected sire in the industry, consistently producing progeny that excel in performance.

“We are incredibly proud of these achievements and the remarkable sires who continue to raise the bar for cutting horse excellence,” said Andrew Waters, Stallion Manager at Valley Equine. “These titles are a testament to the pedigree and bloodlines of the horses in the barn here at Valley Equine and shows that they have produced champions who will shape the industry for years to come.”
